Dortmund, Germany – The second annual European Bamboo Expo 2024 will take place from May 16, 2024, to May 18, 2024, in Dortmund, focusing on the central role of bamboo in the circular economy, with a particular emphasis on the construction and food industries. Expo organizers anticipate over 60 international exhibitors and speakers, aiming to showcase to industry professionals the remarkable versatility of bamboo as a renewable resource in architecture, textile manufacturing, agriculture, and commercial product design.

Building upon the success of last year’s inaugural event, which attracted exhibitors and speakers from over 30 countries and provided businesses with a unique opportunity to showcase their latest products, technologies, and services to potential partners, customers, and governmental institutions, this year’s expo promises to be even more impactful. Participants will witness the latest trends in the global bamboo industry and explore new opportunities for research, product development, and investments in the European market. Last year’s event highlighted the use of bamboo as a sustainable building material, a theme that will be revisited at this year’s expo.

The European Bamboo Expo returns for the second time to Dortmund, a city that advocates and supports renewable resources in general and the use of bamboo in particular.
